Running in place.

I've been hitting the gym harder in recent weeks, what with the upcoming wedding. To be clear, The Big Day is a secondary motivation; when I look at Liz, I consciously realize that I want as much time with her as I can get.

While we were out of town last week, I was surprised to find that our hotel's exercise room contained a treadmill instead of the accustomed elliptical machine. I decided to break from the usual.

Four miles later, I was dehydrated, shaky, and feeling great. I've been alternating jogging with elliptical work since then.

On a related topic, I've been burning the candle at both ends for nearly a month so I could write a new film treatment that incorporated the notes from J. With a major assist from Liz, I wrapped it up last night before driving to the gym for a jog.

Metaphorically, I know life is a marathon and not a sprint. For the last few weeks, however, it's been a mad dash. Luckily for me, there's a beautiful woman on the sidelines who's making sure I don't hit the wall.

Thanks, love.
